All dogs' first visit to The Doggie Paddle in Oshkosh, WI, must be a Paddle with a Partner so we can go over orientation, rules, and procedures and assess skill level. The dogs will have most of the session as swim time with a partner so that by the end of the session, we can more accurately determine which option suits your dog's level of swimming and address your goals. Whether you're looking for fun swimming sessions with your dog, senior swim to keep your dog motivated and healthy, or dock diving sessions to practice for an upcoming competition, we have it all! Our staff is trained and professional, ensuring proper protocol and safety while in the pool with your dog.
Need some help? Paddles with a Partner is excellent for dogs that need a little help—swimming lessons and playtime for dogs that don't play fetch. Have one of the staff/trainers from The Doggie Paddle get in the pool with your dog and get them moving and playing.
Swimming is a great low-impact exercise that can shed some pounds and keep the joints moving long into our dog's senior years. Mobility is one of the most significant factors in judging the quality of life. Swimming helps keep joints and muscles moving and loose, extending that quality over less active dogs.
Has one of your pets had rehabilitation recommended by a Veterinarian after a surgery or injury? Low-impact swimming may be a significant part of any rehab plan.
Please understand that none of the Staff at The Doggie Paddle are veterinarians or are certified in rehabilitation. Use of the facility for this purpose should be under the instruction of a Certified Veterinarian.
At The Doggie Paddle, we provide you with high-quality dock diving sessions. Think your dog has what it takes?? We bet they do too! Multiple different competitions are available and waiting for you and your doggie! Reserve a jumping Paddle with a Partner and have one of the staff from The Doggie Paddle help you learn how it's done!
